Question 4 (Part 8)

I decided to recreate my work from info gram due to a few simple reasons, these include the fact that I was new to the technology I didn't really understand how to use it so my worked didn't turn out as aesthetically pleasing as I hoped it would, so for this step I used Google Sheets. The two columns on the left are the statistics that I created and used to create different charts from such as; Bar chart, Line graph, Pie chart etc. to describe the specific aspects about my target audience. The image of the right depicts the gender of my target audience which is located at 50% for both genders as I want my magazine to be unique and not only focus on men.

The graph on the left shows the ages I would like my magazine to be aimed at starting from 16 ending at 36+, on all of the graphs I added values to make the percentages clearer and axis for better understanding of the graphs. As you can see the vast majority of my target audience are going to be aged around 16-20 as it has the highest percentage of 50%. Secondly is the line graph which shows the equal ethnicity of my target audience at 25%, However Hip Hop is normally aimed at the black culture I decided to be original.

Question 4 (Part 7)

This example of the target audience would be based around the same age however some aspects might be slightly different, mainly due to their background:

  • Some shops they buy from for clothing include; H&M, Next, Forever21, etc. which are fairly cheap however have an international stylish look
They wont have a favourite genre of music indicating that they would listen to most genres.

  • Compared to the previous example of target audience they might come from a different part of London, most likely towards Central London where the large CBD's (Central Business Districts) are located
  • Again due to their relatively young age they will either have a full or part time job, however they may not be studying any subjects if they have a full time job, and would like to party a lot and listen to music
  • Hobbies they might have suggest playing pool, or an interest for art
  • They'll be classed as a middle class person/family with a decent income
  • Music that they listen to will be mixed and their playlist would constantly be on shuffle
This image represents the target audiences family's current working position.

Question 4 (Part 6)

Some key facts about the target audience include the fact that they:

  •  Either classed as young adults or old teenagers- around the age of 16-24
  •  In their spare time they most likely have a part time job
  •  While studying their own specific subjects at college
  •  In their spare time they might go to a variety of parties, where he will socialize with others and meet new people
  •  The type of music he listens to is biasedly Hip Hop and Grime mainly due to his age and where he grew up which would suggest somewhere in London
  • Shop at places such as JD Sports, Sports direct, Zara Men in some cases etc. for clothing items
While studying their subjects they will constantly be deciding on their next steps in the future.
This is an example of one of the many clothing shops listed above.
