Question 4 (Part 8)
Question 4 (Part 7)
This example of the target audience would be based around the same age however some aspects might be slightly different, mainly due to their background:
- Some shops they buy from for clothing include; H&M, Next, Forever21, etc. which are fairly cheap however have an international stylish look

They wont have a favourite genre of music indicating that they would listen to most genres. - Compared to the previous example of target audience they might come from a different part of London, most likely towards Central London where the large CBD's (Central Business Districts) are located
- Again due to their relatively young age they will either have a full or part time job, however they may not be studying any subjects if they have a full time job, and would like to party a lot and listen to music
- Hobbies they might have suggest playing pool, or an interest for art
- They'll be classed as a middle class person/family with a decent income
- Music that they listen to will be mixed and their playlist would constantly be on shuffle

- Either classed as young adults or old teenagers- around the age of 16-24
- In their spare time they most likely have a part time job
- While studying their own specific subjects at college
- In their spare time they might go to a variety of parties, where he will socialize with others and meet new people
- The type of music he listens to is biasedly Hip Hop and Grime mainly due to his age and where he grew up which would suggest somewhere in London
- Shop at places such as JD Sports, Sports direct, Zara Men in some cases etc. for clothing items

Question 4 Demographics (Part 3)
Question 4 (Part 2)
Some aspects on part 1 of question 4 were good where as other parts where not, some good key points include the fact that I used two graphs from research and my own point of view. Secondly the graphs are relatively clear and understandable, I also added a title and finally some facts and figures. However some places I could have improved on are the fact that the two graphs are in black and white, so I could add some colour to them to make them standout, the next improvement I could make is the layout, specifically the fact that there is a large distance between the title and the graphs, finally I could have labelled the x and y axis with titles. Although this was the first time I used "Infogram" which suggests that I didn't know much but the basics about the technology, this is the main reason for all of my improvements.
Describing my current progress in question for I have completed parts including the audiences age and gender. The next couple of steps to discuss is are; Ethnicity, Social Class, Location and finally Musical taste, I will complete this next half of the question on blogger.
Firstly, the location of my audience which I may have talked about before, is the fact that they will be mainly situated around London but may possibly spread all over the country (United Kingdom). This is where my part of my audience will be able to purchase a physical copy of the magazine as it would be transported and distributed around multiple retail parks in this region. On the other hand due to the fact that my magazine will have its own social media accounts and websites, people worldwide who are interested in the magazine will be able to buy online editions and subscriptions.
Secondly, the musical taste of the audience would most likely be the Hip Hop genre or something similar to it such as grime, as they share similar features and lyrics, Otherwise if they weren't interested in this genre I would highly doubt that they would purchase an issue of this magazine, unless there place of education such as college or university requires it for a project in a certain subject, or also their occupation as they might be a dancer or a performing artist and need some inspiration.
Finally I am going to discuss my audiences ethnicity and social class which is quite related to the previous paragraph. Their social class would be working class as they may study at a college or university but may also have a part time job depending on their age, or they may have a full time job with an average annual income which would again suggest that they are able to easily purchase a copy of the magazine. Lastly their ethnicity would most commonly be a coloured person who is from Africa of the Caribbean, this is due to previous research that I done and found some demographics explaining that people linked to these places are usually associated with the Hip Hop genre where as non coloured people tend to listen to things like; Classical, Rock, or Heavy metal.
Conclusion: my overall opinion my the second half of question 4 is the fact that it was rather good and descriptive in each section of the question but besides from a few images with captions there wasn't much of a presentation apart from multiple paragraphs, which is due to the fact that I presented the second half on Blogger which isn't special and quite basic. Due to this for the next three questions I have decided not to present my work through Blogger but just to depict work that I have completed on other pieces of technology.

Distribution methods question 3
Distribution methods of magazines:
The first steps of how the magazine is distributed includes the fact that once it is completed it needs to be printed which is most commonly done by the publisher which would have previously been chosen by the owner of the magazine which usually links to the magazines specific genre however in some cases this is the complete opposite as the owner might want a publisher who doesn't publish that specific genre, suggesting that they are unique.
Once the magazines are printed with complete margins meaning that no information from the magazine is missing and has been cut off while printing, then all the copies are stapled using electronic machinery also known as a binding machine which has both pros and cons, some being the fact that the process is completed a lot quicker and no employees are required to be hired to manually staple the magazines together, However these cons may suggest aspects such as the high cost to run these electric machines throughout the day, the pollution and waste they may produce effecting the environment, setting up the machines and making sure they run accordingly without any problems etc.
Once this process is complete the magazine would then be distributed around the country to a variety of retail parks and shops known to sell different types of magazines, one example of a shop that sells magazines include WH Smiths through a number of ways, suggesting that a variety of transport will be used, these may commonly include using relatively large delivery trucks which are effective but again have problems such as paying for the petrol or diesel which would be an extremely high price as the trucks have to travel a vast distance, and also covering the payment of the driver which may be included with the price of the petrol.
The second way includes delivery trains which are usually used for travelling long distances and through research I have concluded that these specific trains are a lot cheaper than trucks, this is simply due to the fact that there are multiple deliveries that the train is taking and unloading throughout its route due to its large size (Length), where as the trucks or vans specifically focus on your shipment. Another positive aspect of the train method is the fact that the delivery will be completed a lot faster, Clearly because trains are faster than trucks or vans.
The last method of transportation is using a plane, this specific method is only used when the magazine is created in one country but was planned to be sold in another, this is the most expensive method used to be distributed which would effect and decrease the profit generated from selling the magazine, simply because aeroplanes would use a lot of gas, even the destination was a short way away, and one other con of this method is the amount of air pollution that is created which again effects the environment.
The last physical method used is ships and cargo boats, which carry a variety of shipments in large metal containers, these are used worldwide however smaller ships would travel smaller distances, an example being, from London to France. However there are two key cons besides from the matter of pollution, these include the fact that these ships are relatively slow and once the boat reaches its destination another physical method would be required to transport the shipment to the retail parks, this may again include delivery trucks which come at an additional price.
The final method which isn't a physical type of transport however it only occurs to some magazine companies includes only having an online edition of the magazine would is the cheapest method as creating a website and uploading issues of the magazines are fairly simple and cheap simply because no transport of driver is required, however someone may need to be hired to ensure the website is safe to use and secure so no one could harm the website. This method is most effective because of the fact that it could be viewed by anyone with access to the internet around the world, but from further research completed only 45%, less than half the world have access to the internet, However it can still be viewed by the world, not just one specific country or location.
Lastly, once the shipment has reached its destination the shop will most definitely charge the company to store and sell the magazine, or they might simply just take a certain amount of money out of each copy that is purchased in the shop for a specific duration of time. Due to this one pro is the fact that only the company which focuses on the online edition wont be charged any additional charges to store their magazine.
